The Mecca that is Howard University couldn’t be less of one in the scope of athletics. Their programs are struggling. The interest in them is more charged for partis and social events than the actual games. And in a city where black colleges could be the epicenter of social and cultural identity, the Bison are anonymous on the local sports scene.
How Can Howard University Convince YOU To Come To a Game?
HBCU Sports Talk Radio – Saturday, Jan. 31st at 11:00 A.M.
In anticipation of the Super Bowl, HBCU Sports Talk Radio will be broadcasting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. Same address, same format, so definitely tune in and get your voice heard.
Tomorrow, I’ll be featuring a very special guest on the program. Mr. Ian Guerin, spokesperson for the Lefft Law Group, will be on to talk about the Ernest Jones/Alcorn State saga. The Lefft Law Group is headed up by attorney Ricky Lefft, who is the lead counsel in Jones’ lawsuit against Alcorn State University.
I’ll ask Guerin about why Ernest Jones wants to return to Alcorn State, and other pressing questions surrounding the case. You don’t want to miss this one.
If you have questions you want me to ask Ian Guerin, feel free to jump into the HBCU Sports Chat. I’ll be on all evening answering questions about the case, and other headlines in black college sports until about 6:30 p.m. Looking forward to chatting with you tonight, and taking your calls tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
