Now, a character named Mr. MEAC has surfaced at the MEAC Basketball Tournament, but will he get his own ESPN graphic like Mr. CIAA? For dancing? I doubt it.
It’s been a while since Dave Robbins, a legendary coach in the Division II ranks, has watched a CIAA Basketball Tournament game from anywhere else but the sideline. But the newly retired Robbins seems to be enjoying his time away from the game. It’s Mr. CIAA’s fashion sense that has him somewhat troubled.
It was the ladies first, and the men followed up just minutes ago. Johnson C. Smith will appear in the championship game of the CIAA Basketball Tournament in both the men’s and women’s bracket.
