Johnson C. Smith is Golden in CIAA Basketball Tournament

It was the ladies first, and the men followed up just minutes ago. Johnson C. Smith will appear in the championship game of the CIAA Basketball Tournament in both the men’s and women’s bracket.

That’s the mark of a healthy basketball program. Good recruiting and solid coaching down the line for the men and women indicates a positive foundation from the athletic director on down. The coaches can sell the university’s experience, and the players can embrace the philosophy on the court and off.
