Jackson State wants Southern to travel. Money is made there not only for the game but for hotels, restaurants, etc. We are sick and tired of being abused by having our cars towed and being left out in the cold when it is time to enter the game. A better plan for admission to the stadium. Sit down with the mayor, the police department and come up with a plan. If they can’t promise us better, we will plan a boycott when we have to go to them.
PV cant play in that game because of the Labor Day Classic game against Texas Southern every year.Southern does not play FAMU on Oct.18.Representing the MEAC wll be Delaware St.
Why are’nt the SWAC schedules posted yet? The MEAC football schedules are posted. SU jplays FAMU on October 18th.
Could’ve fooled me. You don’t put up with mediocrity, yet SU fans accept the hiring of a coach with a career losing record.

Dude, please stop pretending like you care about the state of Southern football. First of all, Richardson is second only to A.W. Mumford, and secondly, we don’t put up with mediocrity on the gridiron. The wheels were falling off, and it was a time for change. Either post a unbiased report or don’t mention us in your blog.
The Meac/Swac challenge needs butts in the seats; nobody travel’s like the Jaguar Nation!
Ideally, that’s what the fans want to see, but we all know that the MEAC and SWAC infrequently do what most of what fans want to see. I’ve also put in with the MEAC to find out the timetable on when they will announce which school will be participating. My money is on FAMU, but we’ll see. Likely will wind up being Hampton.
WHY IS SOUTHERN PLAYING IN THE MEAC/SWAC GAME? I THOUGHT THIS GAME WAS AWAYS BETWEEN THE CHAMPION OF EACH CONFERENCE. I WAS EXPECTING PRAIRIE VIEW AND SCSU TO PLAY IN THE CHALLENGE THIS YEAR. WHO IS REPRESENTING THE MEAC HOWARD????? LOL
