West Virginia Legislature to Showcase West Virginia State University Programs

West Virginia State University will be honored by the state legislature next week, with a proclamation of “West Virginia State University Day.”

This is the first time in the university’s history that a day has been set aside at the Capitol to showcase its programs and projects.

The university will fill the second level of the Capitol with informational tables and displays. West Virginia State University Gus R. Douglass Land-Grant Institute extension agents and staff members will present various demonstrations and interactive displays throughout the day. The university’s band will play during the noon hour.
