Florida A&M Administration Responds to Sex Tape Controversy
A scandalous sex tape that burned up the Internet this week with faulty claims of featuring students from Florida A&M University has been addressed by the university administration, even as high as university President Dr. James Ammons.
Ammons sent a memo to the university’s trustees, foundation board of directors and national alumni association’s executive council Thursday.
“We have not determined if the individuals in the video are students of Florida A&M University or any other college or university,” Ammons wrote. “It has been determined, however, that the residential facility featured is not a FAMU dormitory.
“The Division of Student Affairs is further investigating whether this involves any other FAMU facility or FAMU students.”
FAMU is fortunate to have a progressive president that takes an interest in matters big and small. I can’t tell you how many presidents and administrators would have outright ignored this situation without a second thought of public relations management.
