Lucille Mauge’ Begins Tenure as Clark Atlanta Vice President

Former chief compliance officer Lucille Mauge’ begins her tenure as Clark Atlanta University’s Vice President for Business and Finance today, with great support from CAU’s top executive.

CAU President Carlton E. Brown said, “Ms. Maugé has served the university in an exemplary manner, developing new policies and procedures to assure compliance with federal, state and university requirements. She is also the major architect of the Clark Atlanta University Process Renewal Initiative, which has enabled us to develop and operate more reliant, accountable procedures across all sectors of the university. We are quite pleased to recognize her for her talent, leadership and commitment.”

Mauge’ appears to be an ideal candidate for this position; the Southern University alumnus has previously worked as a corporate vice president and chief operating officer for Prudential Bank and Trust and vice president of Global Service Delivery for Chase Manhattan Bank of New York. She is also a former Winston-Salem State University board member, a position for which she also chaired the audit committee.
