Paine “School of the Month” Campaign Nets $10,000 Alumni Gift

Paine College recently received a $10,000 donation from its National Alumni Association in support of the school being named the Tom Joyner Foundation’s “School of the Month” for July.  From the release:

The Tom Joyner Foundation Campaign for Paine College was kicked off with a $10,000 contribution from the Paine College National Alumni Association under the leadership of Dr. Silas Norman, Jr., ‘62.

“ This is a great campaign for the Paine. I support it and I want to encourage all Paine College Alumni to do the same,” he said. Many of our students are in need of the funds and providing access to a quality education is one of the College’s main goals. Through contributions from alumni and other constituents, I am sure this campaign will be a huge success.”

Paine will be eligible for donations made to the school and through the Tom Joyner Foundation throughout the month and will be rallying financial support into December for scholarships and financial assistance for deserving students.
