Virginia Union’s Darius Hargrove Named Romanian Import Player of the Year
Former Virginia Union University and all-CIAA men’s basketball standout Darius Hargrove has been named the Romanian Import Player of the Year in EuroLeague competition. Hargrove led the CSU Asesoft Ploiesti club to the 2009-10 league title averaging 17.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the regular season.
Hargrove led the Panthers to the 2005 Division II national men’s basketball championship.
